Hi and welcome to the Green Whisk Bakery! My name is Amy and I am the owner and sole baker of this little plant-based bakery.
Growing up, the sweet smells of cakes and bakes often filled the house with my Mum’s amazing creations and I was always encouraged to grab a spoon and get stuck in. So when I went vegan in 2019 I started trying plant-based bakes in my own kitchen and showing my family and friends that dairy free cakes and bakes are just as tasty and in my own view, better (sorry Mum!).
During Covid, I posted my brownies to friends and family across the country and I loved the idea that my bakes were bringing joy and happiness to others.
In 2023 I got married to my biggest supporter, Sam, and I had the privilege of baking all my wedding cakes with my Mum, a memory I will never forget. I’ve even posted a pic of me with one of my three big cakes above.
So when I became redundant after nine years of working in FMCG companies, I decided it was perfect timing to start the Green Whisk Bakery so I could continue bringing people together over a delicious slice of one of my bakes.
